Madco Paints originated back in 1970 when the paint concern supplying one of our chemical divisions (Branches) closed down.
On opening the paint company is was soon perceived that there where vast markets that were completely untapped apart from the decorative coatings, a complete industrial range was formulated. There after a specialized range of twin pack primers, intermediate and top coats were offered. Some of these coatings having anti-corrosive properties suitable for all substrates e.g steel, boats, cement etc. The company then had large enquiries in the mining sector and after numerous tests were done by the CSIR, Wits and many laboratories.
We now have a T.S.L (Thin Support Layer) which has been approved by most mining concerns and is being extensively used countrywide. This T.S.L (Thin Support Layer) is used as a tunnel support system for the sealing of dams, mining shafts and air vents to mention a couple of usages. 

Working in conjuction with out sister companies to ISO 9002 and being SABS compliant, we pride ourselves on our service provided to our customers.
In November 2004 the company embarked on a Black Empowerment in accordance with BEE with the apointment of Mr Mohamed Bashir. The company endeavors to improve this program in the employment skills and social involvement under the BEE principles.
The directors of the company are Mr J. Thompson and Mr K. Petre.
Our director Mr j. Thompson oversees the day to day operating of the business and has been in the paint industry for 35 years, he controls the formulating and ensures that the quality checks are done on all the products according to the specifications required.
